Slime World
A Co-Op Puzzle Platformer realised on Itch

Slime World was made as part of my masters in game design as part of a two person team. The game was made to be a couch Co-operative platformer with puzzle elements.

This Game was made by designing multiple set pieces for the players to navigate. though it was orginally intended to be like classic multi leveled platformers it was redesigned into a semi open world re using those set pieces.

​World, Ui & Puzzle Design

  • Created the final world and character design

  • worked on the puzzles and 

  • Made the blueprints for the Menus and Co-Op HUD

The players must work together to naviagate and progress through the world and free the King Slime.

  • the players complete puzzles by using there slimes abilitys to solve puzzles and move theough the worlds biomes

  • the players will progress through 5 distinct biomes and find the Runes to unlock the kings cage.

The game was cut back in content towards the end of development. This means that compromises had to be made to make sure the game was finished for the deadline. the game was also changed from multiple linear levels to a single semi open world level.
