Xeno Protocol
A Tower Defnces FPS released on Itch.io

Xeno Protocol was made as part of my masters in game design as part of a three person team. The game was made to be a single player tower defence game FPS.

This Game was made by designing a large branching level, like a space ship for the players to navigate. with the design being influenced and built around the player mechanics such as the games turret launcher or the turrets.

Duration: 6-7 weeks

Role(s) and responsibilities:

​Level Design, UI design, AI and turrets

  • Created the final level and lighting systems

  • worked on the Turrets and Enemy AI

  • Made the blueprints for the Menus and their systems.

The player must work to build turrets and defend the various objectives through the ship and survive the Xeno incursion.

  • the player must build turrets using their turret launcher abilitys defend objectives and kill enemys

  • the players can upgrade there turrets to keep up with the ever increasing strength of the enemys

The game was cut back in content midway through development. This means that compromises had to be made to make sure the game was finished for the deadline.
