Fistandias Mansion
An Educational Project for the University of Bolton Psychology Department

Fistandias Mansion was made as part of my masters in game design with the same group that made wellness springs and Pumpkin moon. This game was made based on the Dungeons and dragons IP for consoles.

This Game was made on a grid movement system with each square representing 5ft. This was taken and adapted from how Dungeons and dragons does movement.

Role(s) and responsibilities:

​Level, Ui & Puzzle Design

  • Created puzzle and level designs for the entirety of Fistandias mansion Based off the orginal source material

  • Built these designs in-engine using assets made by the artists.

  • Made the blueprints for the Menus, HUD and the light Puzzle assets.

The player must figure out how to get all seven books without loosing there 3 lives and escape the level.

  • Through careful movement and observation, players need to manuver the level and not get caught by the Mimics spread thoughout the level. 

  • when the player picks up all seven of the books the player will be informed that they can escape the mansion though the door next to spawn.

The game was cut back in content multiple times due to the short time frame and the amount of assets required to follow the orginal source material. This means that compromises had to be made to make sure the game was finished for the deadline.
